Environment

Let’s Make a Sustainable Ocean and the Earth.

Clean Ocean Without Plastic

Various entities and people must work together to create a clean ocean without plastic pollution. We carry out underwater clean-ups, plogging (beach clean-ups), marine debris monitoring, and advocacy campaigns with companies, organizations, fishing communities, local governments, marine experts, diving experts, and volunteers who sympathize with the seriousness of marine plastic pollution and the importance of marine ecosystem conservation.

Walking Along the River with Picking up Waste & Waste Fishing

Protect rivers from the flow of waste from land to the sea! After heavy rain, you can see a lot of littered waste on the beaches. Though waste usually enters rivers gradually, if rain pours, waste on land is swept away all at once and goes out to sea through rivers.

Therefore, let’s collect waste from riversides and underwater before it goes into the sea and find ways to prevent trash generation together!

Upcycling of Marine Plastic Waste

More than 80% of marine waste is made of non-corrosive plastic material. It is classified as s designated waste, and most of it is incinerated. This process is expensive and emits a large amount of greenhouse gasses and air pollutants. Therefore, we try to discover marine plastics that can be upcycled and propose an upcycling system.

Marine Biodiversity Conservation

Environmental pollution comes from human-centered thinking. Through HUMAN IN LOVE’s marine biodiversity conservation activities, you can meet the diverse living things that make up the ocean and surrounding ecosystem and learn that humans coexist and live together as part of nature.
